Excursions

Whale-watching trips (during the whaling season, ca. mid January to mid March) which are coupled with a visit to the island Cayo Levantado with it's spectacular beaches and fine white sand. You can optionally reserve to eat a hot or cold lunch while visiting the island. Refreshments are also provided on the boats.

Day trips to Cayo Levantado island. Spend time on the beach, swimming or snorkelling on the shallow reefs, walk along the nature trail and get a close look at sea birds including pelicans from the look-out point on the tip of the island. You can optionally reserve to eat a hot or cold lunch and/or take refreshments. Trips start from our pier in Samaná harbor (center of the Samaná waterfront).

Day trips to the Los Haitises National Park, which is on the other side of the bay to Samaná. Have a look at the extensive bird life and visit an island cave. Refreshments are provided on the boats. You can combine the visit with a visit to Cayo Levantado, with or without lunch and refreshments. Departure: 9:30. Prior reservation is requested.

Unless otherwise indicated, all trips start from our pier in Samaná harbor (center of the Samaná waterfront). The pier is about 100 m from our shop.
